Kees Jan Mink

Kees Jan or KJ for his colleagues and friends is one of the two owners and co-founders of iVent Mobile. As a former naval officer (still on active reserve) KJ started his career in satellite communication in the 90’s at KPN Satcom/Station 12. This is when and where he also met Carel Begeer, the other owner and co-founder.
Since, he worked all over the world in the satellite industry, starting several successful businesses and ending up as Vice President Globecomm Europe, prior to starting iVent Mobile.

KJ is our Chief Operations Officer which also encompasses the technical and project departments.

In his spare time KJ likes the outdoors to hike or swim in the open water, to be rounded off at the end of the day by a glass of wine and a good meal.

Kees Jan speaks Dutch, Russian, English and other languages we are not yet aware of.
